De Hapjeshoek is a Surinamese restaurant full of life, good food and nice staff located in the Waterlooplein metro station in the heart of Amsterdam. A location with history! We started small and have grown enormously since 1995.

De Hapjeshoek was created by a dream of three brothers to open their own restaurant.

This is why De Hapjeshoek originated, the name comes from the fact that the building is located on the corner of the Waterlooplein metro station.

You can contact us for a wide range freshly served Surinamese sandwiches, snacks and dishes for lunch and dinner. We strive to put together the best dishes at an affordable price. We are open all day from Monday to Sunday.
